Nvidia is widely expected to unveil its highly anticipated GeForce RTX 50 Series at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) next week.
However, thanks to a recent leak, we have already gotten an early glimpse of one of its flagship models, the RTX 5080 GPU.

The leak surfaced on the Chiphell forums, where a user shared an image of MSI’s GeForce RTX 5080 Gaming Trio packaging. While the original thread has since been deleted, the details have already spread across the tech community, offering insights into the new GPU’s specifications.
According to the leaked packaging, the RTX 5080 features 16GB of GDDR7 memory and a 256-bit memory bus. It’s set to deliver up to 32 Gbps speeds, translating to an impressive total bandwidth of 1024 GB/s (1 TB/s). The card will also feature a 400W total board power (TBP).

While the GPU will showcase a refreshed design, it remains largely consistent with its predecessor, the RTX 4080 Gaming X Trio. The packaging also confirms connectivity options, including three DisplayPort and one HDMI port, though the specific versions of these ports were not disclosed.
Notably, the leaked packaging did not hint at any groundbreaking new Nvidia technologies or unique marketing features.
