LG has announced its latest innovations in gaming monitors with the introduction of the UltraGear GX9 series.
The lineup includes two 45-inch models, the 45GX990A and 45GX950A, both featuring an impressive 5K2K resolution (5,120 x 2,160 pixels) and an ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio designed for immersive gaming experiences.

These monitors boast a rapid 0.03ms (GtG) response time and support variable refresh rates. However, LG has not yet disclosed the specific refresh rate specifications.
The standout feature of the series is the 45GX990A, a bendable OLED monitor capable of transitioning from completely flat to a 900R curvature. This innovative design makes it ideal for users torn between flat and curved displays, offering both options in a single monitor.
In contrast, the 45GX950A is a traditional curved monitor with a fixed 800R curvature.
Both models come equipped with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for a better gaming experiences. Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, and USB-C with 90W power delivery.

LG’s Anti-Glare & Low Reflection (AGLR) coating further enhances viewing comfort, while the Dual-Mode feature automatically adjusts aspect ratios and picture sizes for optimal versatility.
Pricing and availability details for the UltraGear GX9 series are yet to be announced. LG has confirmed that more information about the series will be revealed during CES 2025, where the company is expected to showcase these cutting-edge monitors to a global audience.
