Logitech has just revealed the PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE gaming mouse, bringing a ridiculously fast refresh to its flagship line.
Seeing a successor pop up so soon after the X2 version dropped earlier this year is pretty unusual for a high-end gaming mouse, but Logitech clearly felt like showing off some new upgrades.
The big headliner here is the Haptic Inductive Trigger System, or HITS, on the main switches. It essentially brings the analogue magic of magnetic gaming keyboards over to your mouse clicks. You can dynamically adjust your actuation points and trigger feel, unlocking features like rapid trigger that can give you a genuine edge in competitive shooters.
Building on the first-gen version of this tech, Logitech claims the updated HITS setup in the X3 shaves up to thirty milliseconds off input latency. The brand has also made a few neat design tweaks under the hood, making the overall clicking experience feel far more refined than before. The mouse is also lighter at 59g compared to the X2, which was 61g.
Battery life gets a massive bump as well, thanks to a new NxLOGI chipset that boosts power efficiency by roughly 50%. You are looking at over 135 hours of game time on a single charge now. On top of that, the upgraded HERO 2 sensor bumps sensitivity up to forty-four thousand DPI, with an impressive tracking speed of eight hundred and eighty-eight IPS and max acceleration reaching eighty-eight G.
Visually, you have got a couple of cool choices this time around. There is a sleek, understated Midnight Black edition, as well as a striking Magenta Eclipse version that pairs bright neon pink with a matte black body.
The PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE is officially headed to Malaysian shores soon. While the international price tag is set at USD199 (~RM812), local pricing has not been confirmed just yet.
Given that the X2 landed at RM829 locally, you can expect the new model to arrive at a similar or slightly higher price point.
