Suunto has just launched its newest lightweight sports watch, the Suunto Run, in Malaysia.
The watch features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 466 × 466 resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It’s built with stainless steel bezels and a glass fibre-reinforced polyamide case, keeping it durable yet lightweight.
At just 11.5mm thick and weighing only 36g, it’s the lightest smartwatch in Suunto’s lineup. It comes with a 22mm nylon band and offers four color choices.
The Suunto Run is packed with features, including 50m water resistance, dual-band GPS, Bluetooth connectivity, and 4GB of MP3 storage for offline music listening. It also includes handy training tools like hydration reminders and a metronome to help keep your rhythm in check.
With 34 sport modes, the watch covers activities like hiking, cycling, yoga, tennis, and boxing. Runners will appreciate specialised features like Ghost Runner, Challenge Mate, Race Predictor, and detailed insights for track, treadmill, and trail running. It also syncs with popular running apps like Strava, Runkeeper, and Adidas Running.
For health tracking, it monitors sleep, heart rate, blood oxygen levels, steps, and calories. There’s even a new breathing widget to help manage stress. Battery life is solid—20 hours in performance mode with GPS on, and up to 12 days in regular smartwatch mode.
