Microsoft Shrinks Xbox Controller Into Pocket-Sized Nano Model

It costs USD49.99 (~RM204) and it works just like a regular Xbox controller plus a new programmable Action Button.

Microsoft has just shrunk its Xbox controller, bringing out a version that can actually fit in your pocket.

Called the Xbox Nano Controller, it is officially the smallest controller Microsoft has ever produced. It is designed mainly for younger gamers, anyone with smaller hands, or folks who simply want something easier to throw into a bag.

Even though it measures 13 cm long and weighs under 100 grams, it still packs in every single button you would find on a full-sized Xbox pad.

There is also a new programmable Action Button, which you can set up using the Xbox Accessories app to take screenshots, record video clips, or activate custom shortcuts. On top of that, Microsoft has built in a rechargeable battery as standard, so you will not need to mess around with AA batteries or separate play and charge kits. It powers up solely via a USB-C port on the back.

When it comes to connections, it supports Xbox Wireless for consoles alongside Bluetooth for PCs, Android, iOS, and selected smart TVs.

Pricing and Availability

The Xbox Nano Controller costs USD49.99 (~RM204) and starts shipping in the US on 4 November. It will roll out to 35 more countries the following month, with more regions following later, though unfortunately Malaysia is not on the list.
