Nothing has just unveiled its latest pair of true wireless earbuds, the Nothing Ear (3a).
Keeping things familiar, they feature the classic in-ear design with a silicone ear tip, though this time around they have added a new extra-small size to the mix to help you get the perfect fit. While the earbuds themselves look just like the older Ear (a), the charging case has received a sleek makeover with a much rounder shape and an improved status light.

The Ear (3a) is available in four colours: white, black, and yellow, with one new addition: pink.
When it comes to audio quality, each earbud packs a 12mm dynamic driver. Nothing claims this setup delivers up to 5dB stronger bass than the previous Ear (a) model, which should give your music a bit more punch.

The Ear (3a) supports active noise cancellation up to 45dB, a handy Transparency mode for when you actually need to hear your surroundings, and support for Spatial Audio. Each earbud also houses three microphones powered by AI noise reduction to keep your voice calls crystal clear.
There is a new audio recording feature that lets you record directly to the earbuds thanks to 32MB of built-in storage. You can capture up to one minute of audio, which includes up to 30 seconds of sound that played just before you even hit record.

As for battery life, with noise cancellation switched on, you are looking at up to six hours of playback from a single charge, reaching up to 25 hours total when you include the case. If you switch the cancellation off, that jumps up to 10 hours on the earbuds and a massive 42 hours with the case.
They also support fast charging, meaning a quick five-minute top-up gives you up to an hour of listening time. Rounding things out, connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 6.0 and Google Fast Pair, with full support for SBC, AAC, and LDAC audio codecs.
As for the availability and pricing in Malaysia, Nothing has not announced anything yet.
