Nvidia is set to announce the GeForce RTX 50 Series at CES in January 2025, but we don’t have to wait until the actual day to find out what the company is planning to launch.
Thanks to a reliable leaker, kopite7kimi, we now know that the mid-tier RTX 5070 is to have 6,144 CUDA cores and a power consumption of 250W, with 12GB of GDDR7 memory across a 192-bit memory bus.
For reasons known only to Nvidia, the RTX 5070 will not receive a memory upgrade over the RTX 4070. However, there is a chance that memory upgrade could be introduced in a SUPER variant in the future.
The 5070 Ti has 8,960 CUDA cores and is reported to feature 256-bit 16GB GDRR7 memory. This GPU is estimated to have a power consumption of 300W.
As usual, these details are based on rumours, so the specifications might change. The RTX 5070 Series cards are anticipated to launch following the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 releases.
