Nvidia Is Releasing Trading Cards, And They Feature Iconic GeForce GPUs

Nvidia will be giving them out for free through their social media channels and at certain gaming events.

In a rather unexpected move, Nvidia has decided to jump on the trading card bandwagon with the announcement of the GeForce Trading Cards Series 1.

Designed to celebrate and showcase some of the most iconic moments in GeForce PC gaming history, this new collectible venture merges tech nostalgia with modern enthusiast culture.

The collection consists of 14 distinct designs, all of which are being distributed entirely for free. The trading cards feature legendary GPUs including the original NV1, the groundbreaking GeForce 256, the GeForce 3, and the GeForce 7800 GTX. More modern milestones are also represented, such as the widely popular GeForce 10 series and the highly coveted, limited-edition GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Cyberpunk 2077 Edition.

For those looking to secure a pack, Nvidia is distributing them primarily through its Summer of RTX giveaways across various social media channels. Additionally, fans will be able to hunt them down in person at select summer gaming shows and community events, with confirmed appearances at Bilibili World, QuakeCon, and Gamescom.

Given that Nvidia has explicitly labelled this initial release as Series 1, it seems highly likely that collectors can look forward to more trading cards joining the collection in the future.
