OnePlus has officially pulled back the curtain on its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 16, teasing three distinct colourways.
Over on OnePlus Weibo’s account, the brand showed off the new looks, which translate from Mandarin as Tomorrow’s Starlight, Dark Forest, and Mars Masterpiece.
Judging by these images, the design of the OnePlus 16 looks visually identical to the OnePlus 15, except for the new colours.
As for what is powering the device, the usually spot-on leaker Digital Chat Station claims the phone will pack a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset. Scrolling should feel buttery smooth with a standard 165Hz refresh rate, which can boost up to 185Hz when launching supported games. Keeping everything running is a massive 9,000mAh battery, supported by 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Around the back, the camera setup is expected to feature a 200MP main sensor measuring 1/1.4 inches, accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide shooter and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with a 1/1.95-inch sensor.
DCS also claims that the front of the device sports a 6.78-inch display with a 1.5K resolution, from BOE. Out of the box, the OnePlus 16 is set to run ColorOS 17, which is built on Android 17.
OnePlus is expected to launch the new flagship phone in China sometime next month.
