OnePlus Ace 5 Series Expands: New Model Features MediaTek Dimensity Chip In 2025

The phone is expected to use a Dimensity 9350 or 9400 chip.

OnePlus has recently released its Ace 5 Series with the launch of two models: the standard Ace 5 (marketed globally as the OnePlus 13R) and the Ace 5 Pro. These devices are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets, respectively.

Now, fresh rumours hint at a third addition to the lineup, potentially arriving as the OnePlus Ace 5S or Ace 5V, according to leaks from prominent Weibo tipster Smart Pikachu.

The upcoming device is speculated to feature a sizable flat display, with benchmark scores suggesting a strong focus on performance.

While specifics remain unconfirmed, the phone is expected to debut a MediaTek Dimensity processor, likely from the 9000 series. Earlier insights from reliable source Digital Chat Station align with this, pointing to the possibility of a Dimensity 9350 or 9400 chipset—both are flagship chipsets that could position the device as a competitive upper mid-range contender.

The upcoming Ace 5 phone is also expected to house a gigantic battery of around 7,000mAh

Reports indicate a projected launch window in Q2 2025. Given OnePlus’ history of rebranding Ace series phones for global markets (as seen with the Ace 5/13R), the new model may also follow suit, potentially arriving under a different name in international regions.
