After making its debut in China just last week, RedMagic’s slimmest gaming handset to date has officially landed on our shores. The 11 Air is looking like a bit of a stunner for anyone who wants top-tier performance without the usual bulk that comes with a dedicated gaming phone.
Under the hood, the device is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which should handle pretty much anything you throw at it. If you want to go all out, you can spec it with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of fast storage. It also ships with RedMagic OS 11.0, which is built on top of Android 16, so you are getting the latest software bits right out of the box.
The display is a massive 6.85-inch AMOLED panel with a silky-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. You won’t find any notches or punch-holes here to get in the way of your matches, as the 16MP selfie camera is tucked away right under the glass. For a bit of extra peace of mind, the screen features a built-in optical fingerprint scanner and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
On the back, you will find a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens. What is truly impressive is that despite measuring just 7.85mm thick, the engineers have managed to cram in a massive 7,000mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging. They even found room for a physical cooling fan that spins at 24,000 RPM to keep things chilled while you are playing.
The phone weighs in at 207 grams and carries an IP54 rating for some basic protection against dust and splashes.

The 11 Air is available in two finishes called Phantom and Prism. For those looking to buy, the 12GB+256GB model starts at RM2,499, while the top-spec 16GB+256GB version will cost you RM2,999.
