Rumour has it Apple is finally jumping into the foldable smartphone market next year.
According to a well-known leaker, Digital Chat Station (DCS) on Weibo, the upcoming iPhone Fold will feature a 7.7-inch folding inner display paired with a 5.5-inch cover screen.
Apple could be prioritising pocketability and one-handed use. If true, it could mean a more compact, user-friendly design compared to bulkier foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold series.
DCS also backs up previous rumors pointing to a 2026 release. Reports suggest the device is already in the prototype testing phase, with a working model reportedly in existence.
There’s still some uncertainty around whether it’ll include an under-display selfie camera for the folding display, but one thing that keeps popping up in leaks is that it might have a nearly crease-free design.
