The Samsung Galaxy Ring has finally made its way to Malaysia, almost a year after its global release on July 2024.
This fitness tracker has a 2.6mm thickness and a lightweight build ranging from 2.3g to 3.3g depending on the ring size.

Don’t let its subtle look fool you—it’s packed with features like an accelerometer, an optical heart rate sensor that also monitors blood oxygen levels, and even a skin temperature sensor.
Pairing with the Samsung Health app, the Galaxy Ring provides sleep coaching, detailed sleep analysis, and personalised tips to help you improve your rest. There’s also a Snore Detection feature, though you’ll need to keep your phone charging nearby for it to work.

One of the coolest features is gesture control—just double-tap with your index or middle finger and thumb to remotely snap photos or turn off alarms. Battery life varies by size, with the larger rings lasting up to seven days and smaller ones around four days.
The included transparent charging case has a 361mAh battery, charging the ring to 40% in roughly 30 minutes and fully in about 90 minutes.

Built for everyday wear, the Galaxy Ring is both water- and dust-resistant with a 10 ATM and IP68 rating, so you can wear it in the shower or while swimming. While it works with most Android devices, it’s optimised for Samsung Galaxy smartphones.
Pricing and Availability
Priced at RM2,099, the ring comes in ten sizes (from 5 to 14) and three finishes: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold.
However, the ring is available by invitation only to select Galaxy Z and Galaxy S series users from 9 to 30 April 2025.
To get one, eligible customers—including those with Galaxy S25 to S20 series, S FE models, and Galaxy Z Flip/Fold devices from the Flip 3/Fold 3 onward—need to grab an invitation code via the Samsung Members app.
Then, they’ll have to visit a Samsung Experience Store to try on sizes and pick their preferred colour before finalizing the order online. Each ring is custom-made and takes about six weeks to arrive.
As an extra perk, Samsung has teamed up with Sunway Medical Centre to offer exclusive Galaxy Health Screening packages from 11 April to June 30, 2025. Eligible Galaxy S and Z series users with a special invitation code in the Samsung Members app can snag discounts—the first 100 customers get up to 50% off and a free Galaxy Ring or Galaxy Fit3.
