Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S24 FE, which aims to be a budget flagship phone without sacrificing much from what’s offered by the flagship Galaxy S series.
The S24 FE is equipped with the Exynos 2400e, a lower-clocked variant of the chip found in the Galaxy S24 and S24+. It boasts 8GB of RAM and offers up to 512GB of storage.
The device features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with FHD+ resolution, a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a Vision Booster enhancement that Samsung claims optimises colour and contrast for a clear and comfortable gaming experience, even in direct sunlight.
The ProVisual engine, previously exclusive to the flagship series, is now included in the FE line. It merges Nightography—an AI-powered ISP enhancing low-light photography—with an object-aware engine for color optimization in Super HDR, and provides an optical-quality 2x zoom.
The imaging capabilities are led by a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. For additional zoom, there’s a 3x 8MP telephoto module, and for wider shots, a 12MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture. The front-facing camera features a 10MP sensor.
A 4,700mAh battery powers the phone, supporting 25W fast charging via USB-C, though it does not support wireless charging.
Regarding Galaxy AI, the suite of tools and enhancements introduced with the Galaxy S24 series, such as Live Translate, Generative Edit, AI Nightography, Instant Slo-Mo, and others, are also available on the S24 FE.
Connectivity wise, this phone includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. Also, the phone is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.
The S24 FE comes equipped with Android 14 and OneUI 6.1, and Samsung promised updates across seven OS generations and security patches for a duration of seven years.

The latest Galaxy S24 FE is available at RM3,299 for the 256GB model and RM3,899 for the 512GB variant, with colour choices of Blue, Graphite, Gray, and Mint. The phone is available to order now via Samsung’s official website and authorised retailers nationwide.
