Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Camera Leak: Minimal Upgrades From S24 Ultra?

The S25 Ultra is still packing the same camera setup with one exception.

The launch of Galaxy S25 Series is scheduled for January 2025. As the date approaches, an increasing number of leaks and rumors are emerging about the phones, particularly the S25 Ultra.

For those interested in the camera upgrades of the S25 Ultra it appears that Samsung is maintaining a configuration similar to that of the S24 Ultra.

If this leak proves accurate, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP2 sensor (1/1.3″, 0.6µm-2.4µm), f/1.7, 23mm for the main camera, a 10MP Sony IMX754 (1/3.52″, 1.12µm), f/2.4, 67mm 3x telephoto, a 50MP Sony IMX854 (1/2.52″, 0.7-1.4µm), f/3.4, 111mm 5x telephoto, and a 12MP Samsung ISOCELL S5K3LU (1/3.2″, 1.12µm), f/2.2, 26mm selfie camera.

Only the ultrawide camera appears to use new hardware, relying on a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KJN3 sensor, known as the GN3, with a 1/1.57″ optical size and 1.0 µm individual pixels.

Samsung recently unveiled its innovative “ALoP (All Lenses on Prism)” camera technology, a telephoto module design that delivers brighter lenses and a more compact form factor.

However, it appears the company has opted not to integrate this cutting-edge technology into the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
