It looks like Samsung might be playing it safe with the cameras on the next Galaxy S26 series.
According to the well-known leaker Ice Universe, all three models – the standard S26, the Plus, and the Ultra – are set to reuse the same 10MP ISOCELL sensor for their 3x telephoto duties.
To get into the nitty-gritty, we’re talking about the same 10MP sensor with a 1/3.94-inch size, 1.0µm pixels, and an f/2.4 lens with a 36° field of view. In short, it’s identical to the 3x telephoto camera found on the current Galaxy S25 and S25+.
If this rumour holds, it paints a rather familiar picture for the S26’s camera upgrade path. It suggests we might be in for another iterative update, following a Galaxy S25 series that many felt was a bit of a letdown in the photography department.
