Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Dummy Units Leaked

Mostly looking the same as last year's models.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is almost certainly on its way, with a launch expected within this month or February. In what’s become something of a pre-launch ritual, the designs for two of the models – the standard Galaxy S26 and the S26 Ultra – have now surfaced online, albeit unofficially.

These latest glimpses come courtesy of the reliable leaker @OnLeaks, who has shared photos and videos of what are described as dummy units. These non-functional mock-ups are typically based on information from within the supply chain, giving us a fairly good idea of what to expect.

At a glance, it seems the overall design language won’t be shaking things up too dramatically from last year’s models. The Ultra, for instance, looks set to continue with the rounded corners that were introduced with the S25 Ultra, mirroring the softer aesthetic of the standard model.

One noticeable tweak, however, appears to be on the back. The rear cameras on these dummies are housed on a single, unified island, rather than being kept as separate units. It’s a design shift we’ve already seen with the recent Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Completing the trio should be a Galaxy S26+. Notably, it seems we shouldn’t expect a follow-up to the Galaxy S25 Edge this time around. Reports suggest its lukewarm sales have led Samsung to pause on releasing a successor, at least for this generation.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 globally, while the S26 and S26+ are getting the Exynos 2600 in some markets.
