Samsung is reportedly set to introduce the Galaxy Z Flip FE, a more affordable entry in its foldable phone lineup.
According to Smartprix, a listing in the GSMA database confirms the device’s existence with the model number SM-F761B.
The “FE” in Galaxy Z Flip FE stands for “Fan Edition,” a designation Samsung has previously used for budget-friendly versions of its flagship devices.
However, this marks the first time the FE branding will be applied to a foldable smartphone, signalling Samsung’s intent to make foldable technology accessible to a wider audience.
The Galaxy Z Flip FE is expected to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2400 SoC, promising solid performance for the price point.
Additionally, according to Display Supply Chain Consultants’ CEO Ross Young, the phone will reportedly utilise the display panel from the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 features a 6.7-inch FullHD+ 120Hz LTPO AMOLED folding display with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. Its outer display is a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 748×700 pixels, protected by durable Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
