Samsung has started taking orders for the world’s first OLED gaming monitor with a blazing-fast 500Hz refresh rate.
The 27-inch Odyssey OLED G6 G60SF comes packed with a QHD (2560 x 1440) QD-OLED panel, a fast 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time, and a refresh rate that’s perfect for competitive gamers.

It’s also VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified, hitting 1000 nits peak brightness at 10% APL, with a minimum of 800 nits for stunning contrast and vibrant visuals. The Odyssey OLED G6 also boasts a glare-free surface to minimise reflections.

The monitor is Pantone validated, meaning it can display over 2,100 colours, including 110 skin tones from Pantone’s library, making it great for both gaming and creative work. It also supports Nvidia G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, so screen tearing and stuttering won’t be an issue no matter which GPU you’re using.
To tackle OLED burn-in concerns, Samsung has included a dynamic cooling system to manage heat and a thermal modulation feature that automatically adjusts brightness. There’s also a smart feature that detects static elements like logos or taskbars and dims them slightly to prevent image retention.

It’s set to launch first in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, with a global release coming later this year. The gaming monitor is priced at SGD1,488 (~RM4,947), though Malaysian pricing hasn’t been confirmed just yet at the time of writing.
