XGIMI, the China-based company specialising in home projectors, has officially made its debut in the Malaysian market. Bringing a fresh line-up of smart projectors designed to deliver a cinema-grade experience directly to the living room, the brand aims to make high-end home entertainment far more accessible to local tech enthusiasts.

Leading the charge is the flagship Horizon 20 Series, headlined by the Horizon 20 Max. This premium model projects in crisp 4K resolution, incorporates integrated Harman Kardon speakers, and stands out as the first smart projector to carry dual certification for both Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced. Designed to replace traditional living room televisions, it offers exceptional brightness suited for daytime viewing, along with a 1ms input lag and high refresh rates tailored for modern gaming consoles.

For those facing spatial constraints, the AURA 2 (New) offers an ultra-short-throw solution. Positioned just inches from a wall, it can project a massive 120-inch image without the need for ceiling mounts or central room placement. The unit features an eco-friendly fabric finish, a protective automatic lens cover, and a dedicated Art Mode that transforms the screen into a digital canvas for displaying artwork or ambient visuals when not actively in use.

On the portable front, XGIMI has introduced the MoGo 4, a compact device roughly the size of a travel flask. Powered by an internal battery offering up to 2.5 hours of playback, it features a 360-degree rotating stand for effortless wall or ceiling projection, magnetic filters for customized mood lighting, and built-in Google TV. Integrated Harman Kardon audio allows it to double as a standalone wireless speaker.

Rounding out the lineup are two entry-level portable options aimed at everyday users. The book-sized Elfin Flip Plus delivers Full HD resolution in a lightweight frame, while the Vibe One features a built-in battery, a 160-degree handle-stand, and an eight-colour ambient lighting system that operates alongside its Bluetooth speaker functionality.

XGIMI’s expansion into Malaysia is managed by exclusive local distributor Oliyaya Sdn Bhd, which oversees retail operations, official warranties, and local customer support. To mark the launch, the brand has opened its first physical XGIMI Brand Store located at Sunway Pyramid.
