TP-Link Malaysia Announces WiFi 8 Lineup Featuring Archer 8 Ultra And Deco 8 Ultra

And also the Omada WiFi 8 lineup for businesses.

TP-Link Malaysia just unveiled WiFi 8 at their APAC Business-to-Business Summit on 15 September. The popular network and smart home gear maker showcased the new tech, which is built on the upcoming IEEE 802.11bn standard.

It centres around what they call the WiFi 8 StabilityEngine, a smart setup meant to boost coverage, clear up congestion, and cut out interference so your connection does not drop when everyone in the house jumps online at once.

During the event, they gave a peek at their flagship home networking devices, the Archer 8 Ultra router and the Deco 8 Ultra mesh system.

If you are looking to upgrade your home setup, you can register your interest for the Archer 8 Ultra on TP-Link’s site. To make setup dead simple, both come with NFC tapping, so you can pair your gear instantly without typing out long Wi-Fi passwords.

They also introduced the upcoming Omada WiFi 8 line for businesses, which will come in five different flavours: Max, Pro X, Pro, UR, and Basic. These enterprise access points are flexible enough to be slapped onto walls, mounted on ceilings, or set up outdoors. You can expect the Pro model to land in the first half of 2027, with the rest of the lineup following later in the year.

When the tech officially hits the market in early 2027, TP-Link expects it to offer up to 30% higher throughput, 24% better interference handling, and 15% stronger mesh performance than WiFi 7.
