Wraps are off the new Vivo X300 series, and it’s looking like a proper pair of contenders. The line-up consists of the standard X300, which is being pitched as a more compact option, and the fully-specced X300 Pro. Both are running on the freshly unveiled MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, so expect top-tier performance.
Vivo X300 Pro

Let’s start with the flagship, the X300 Pro. It’s not just relying on the Dimensity 9500; it’s also got vivo’s own V3+ imaging chip to handle the photographic heavy lifting. You can kit it out with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, and it’s all powered by a substantial 6,510mAh battery (5,440mAh for the global version). That battery supports 90W wired topping-up and 40W wireless charging.
The phone features a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO display with a buttery 120Hz refresh rate and a sharp 1260 x 2800 pixel resolution. It’s got your HDR content covered with support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is tucked neatly under the screen.
For the camera enthusiasts, the phone offers a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main 1/1.28-inch sensor with f/1.57 aperture and gimbal OIS. The phone also gets a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide, and a new 200MP 1/1.4-inch Samsung HPB telephoto sensor. At the front, vivo has included another 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor for selfies and video calls.
The Pro feels solid in the hand at 226 grams, yet it manages to stay under 8mm thick. It also boasts a robust IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance and comes in a selection of Black, Brown, Blue, and White finishes.

Vivo X300

As for the more compact X300, it shares the same powerful Dimensity 9500 chip and can also be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The big draw here is its smaller form factor, built around a 6.31-inch 8T LTPO panel that also offers a 120Hz refresh rate and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Its battery is a slightly smaller, but still very respectable, 6,040mAh cell, with the same 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support.
Its camera system takes a different approach, the X300 has a 200MP primary rear camera (Samsung HPB sensor) with a 1/1.4-inch sensor size and f/1.68 aperture. It also gets a 50MP 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT-602 APO telephoto camera and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide camera. The JN1 sensor is also used on the front for selfies.
Weighing in at a lighter 190 grams and being marginally thinner, the X300 is the one for those who prefer a device that’s easier to handle. It still gets that IP68/IP69 rating and comes in a more playful palette of Black, Blue, Pink, and Purple.

Both phones run on the new Android 16, skinned with Vivo’s own OriginOS 6.
Pricing and Availability
The standard X300 starts at CNY4,399 (~RM2,616) for the 12GB + 256GB model, while the X300 Pro begins at CNY5,299 (~RM3,151) for the 12GB + 256GB version.
And for the keen mobile photographers, there’s a rather nifty accessory kit. It includes a custom case with a grip on one end and a telephoto extender lens on the other.

The core kit is CNY1,299 (~RM722), or you can get it with a strap for CNY1,499 (~RM891). If you just fancy the case and the strap without the extender lens, that’s a more affordable CNY699 (~RM415).
The global version of these phones are expected to come out in November 2025.
