It looks like Vivo is finally listening to the fans outside of China. While the previous X100 and X200 Ultra models were frustratingly kept as exclusives for the domestic market, the upcoming X300 Ultra is set for a proper global release.
The phone has already pop up for certification in Europe, and it has recently surfaced in Indonesia as well, suggesting a much wider launch is just around the corner.
The leaked specs are genuinely impressive if they turn out to be accurate. We are expecting a gorgeous 6.82-inch LTPO screen with a crisp QHD+ resolution. Interestingly, it seems Vivo is bucking the recent trend of adding a physical camera button, opting for a cleaner design instead. On the inside, it is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.
The real talking point, however, is the camera system. It is aiming to be the first smartphone in the world to pack two separate 200MP sensors, covering both the main camera and the periscope telephoto lens. To make sure the phone stay on, it is reportedly sporting a massive battery with at least 7,000mAh capacity, which should easily see you through a heavy day of snapping photos.
