Xiaomi 15 Pro Leaked In Three Colours Ahead Of Launch

The Xiaomi 15 series is expected to launch in China on 20 October 2024.

Xiaomi is set to unveil their newest flagship phones this month. Although the giant Chinese tech firm has kept details of the official launch under wraps, leaks indicate a release in late October in China.

Thanks to Smartprix, we can get a sneak peek at the phone’s design ahead of the official announcement.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro features a rear design that’s quite similar to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Pro, with the main change being the relocation of the LED flash array outside the camera island.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro is set to launch in three classic colors: Black, White, and Silver. Additionally, a special Titanium edition will be released, similar to the Xiaomi 14 Pro’s launch.

The 15 Pro is rumoured to be equipped with a 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED panel, manufactured by TCL, boasting a “2K” resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

The phone will run on the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset (also known as Snapdragon 8 Elite), paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

The Leica-branded triple rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with a 1/1.3″ size and an f/1.4 aperture, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP 5x telemacro camera with a minimum focus distance of 30cm. For selfies, the phone will sport a 32MP front camera.

Xiaomi promises the device will receive five major Android updates, and the titanium edition will offer satellite connectivity.

The 15 Pro will also pack a 6,000mAh battery supporting 90W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro series will launch in China initially this year and will subsequently be released globally the following year.
