Xiaomi is set to unveil its flagship photography powerhouse, the 15 Ultra, in the coming weeks. Thanks to recent leaks, we already have a clear picture of the phone’s design and specifications.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra draws clear inspiration from Leica cameras, featuring a sleek combination of leather and silver-colored metal.

Under the hood, it is powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The device boasts a 6.73-inch quad-micro curved LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 and an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. The display is protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass 2.0, ensuring durability.

On the camera front, the phone features a quad-camera setup on the rear, including a 50MP main sensor with a 1-inch type sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, a 50MP short-range telephoto lens, and a 200MP long-range periscope telephoto lens with 4.3x optical zoom. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front-facing camera.
The 15 Ultra is equipped with a 5,410mAh battery, supporting 90W wired HyperCharge, 80W wireless HyperCharge, and 10W reverse wireless charging. The global model will come with 16GB of RAM and will be available in 512GB and 1TB storage options.
Xiaomi has announced that the 15 Series will make its global debut on 2 March 2025.
If the company followed the release strategy of 2024, we can expect the standard Xiaomi 15 to launch globally alongside the 15 Ultra, while the Pro model will likely remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
