Xiaomi is gearing up to drop a new gaming monitor under its Redmi brand—the Redmi Monitor G Pro 27U—an upgraded version of the G Pro 27i.
This 10-bit (8bit + FRC) 27-inch monitor packs a 4K display (3840×2160) with a sharp 157ppi pixel density. It rocks a smooth 160Hz refresh rate, which can even crank up to 320Hz when you drop to 1080p. It also comes with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for buttery-smooth gameplay with no tearing.
Plus, it gets crazy bright, hitting up to 1,600 nits peak brightness, HDR1000 certified, and supports Dolby Vision.

The display uses 1152 Mini LED zones and QD quantum dot tech, covering 100% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 99% Adobe RGB with pro-level color accuracy (ΔE<1), useful for gaming or editing.
Under the hood, it’s got a Cortex-A73 quad-core CPU and a G57 MC1 GPU, paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It runs on HyperOS and comes with dual 5W speakers for decent built-in sound.
Connectivity-wise, you get Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DP1.4 port, and two USB ports (USB 3.0 + USB 2.0). It also supports AirPlay and Miracast for easy wireless screen mirroring.
The Redmi G Pro 27U launches in China on 24 April 2025, but pricing is still a mystery. No word yet on whether it’ll go global like the G Pro 27i.
