YTL Communications (Yes) has launched a new mobile plan in Malaysia that pairs uncapped 5G data with free access to a homegrown AI.
Dubbed the Yes AI 30 postpaid plan, it brings high-speed connectivity together with a bundled subscription to a locally developed AI assistant.
Early adopters get a nice discount to start. The plan drops to RM20 per month for the first six months before returning to its standard rate of RM30 per month. You get full 5G Advanced speeds with zero caps, a 12GB allocation for mobile hotspots, unlimited calls, no fixed contract commitments, and no upfront payment required.
The headline inclusion is free access to ILMUchat Pro, an AI tool that normally costs RM50 a month. Developed in-house by YTL, ILMUchat is tailored specifically for the Malaysian market. It effortlessly handles Bahasa Malaysia, English, and even local slang and dialect nuances, making it far more conversational and culturally aware than standard global models.
