It’s that time of year again when leaks and rumours start to heat up as Samsung prepares to launch its latest foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, expected to debut in July 2025.
Thanks to Android Headlines, we now have a sneak peek at what the Z Fold 7 might look like. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is set to be incredibly slim, measuring just 4.5mm thick when unfolded and 9.5mm when folded.

This makes it approximately 1.1mm thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and 0.4mm thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE. The device will reportedly feature an 8.2-inch inner display and a 6.5-inch outer display, with overall dimensions of 158.4 x 143.1 x 4.5mm.

While the Z Fold 7 appears visually similar to its predecessor, the Z Fold 6, the key differences lie in its thinner profile and slightly larger displays.
Under the hood, the Z Fold 7 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, likely the 7-core variant previously used in the Oppo Find N5, which should help optimise thermal performance.

In terms of battery capacity, the Z Fold 7 is rumored to retain the same 4,400mAh battery found in recent generations. This is somewhat disappointing, especially considering that the Oppo Find N5 managed to incorporate a larger 5,600mAh battery in an even slimmer body.
However, the camera system is expected to receive a significant upgrade. The Z Fold 7 is rumoured to feature a 200MP primary sensor, though the 12MP ultrawide and 10MP telephoto cameras on the back will remain unchanged. For selfies, the outer display will house a 10MP camera, while the inner display will include a 4MP under-display camera.
