Unifi Mobile has emerged as the leader in 5G download speed, averaging an impressive 290.3Mbps between August and October.
According to Opensignal’s latest “Mobile Network Experience Report,” Unifi Mobile provides superior 5G video experience, allowing users to stream 1080p videos with minimal loading times and interruptions.
In second place for 5G download speeds are Digi and Maxis, both achieving 276.1Mbps. U Mobile follows closely at 274.0Mbps, while Yes recorded 258.4Mbps.
Interestingly, despite operating under CelcomDigi, Celcom ranked last with a 5G download speed of 179.3Mbps.
However, Celcom excelled in coverage, scoring 8.3 out of 10. Digi and Maxis followed with 6.8 and 6.7 points, respectively. U Mobile scored 5.3, while Unifi Mobile and Yes recorded 3.9 and 3.6.
In terms of reliability, Maxis led with a score of 869 out of 1,000, followed by Unifi Mobile (834), Digi (831), Celcom (807), Yes (801), and U Mobile (714).
The report also found that U Mobile led in 5G availability, with users connected to 5G 37.7% of the time, and in 5G gaming experience, which considers latency, packet loss, and jitter in multiplayer games. Celcom and Digi shared the lead for 5G upload speed at 34.3Mbps.
