Oppo is set to launch its flagship foldable phone, the Find N5, in about two weeks, and the company has begun revealing more details about the device.
Pete Lau, Oppo’s Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer, recently showcased the Find N5 in its unfolded state.
He compared the crease on the Find N5 to what appears to be the Galaxy Z Fold 6. In a side-by-side comparison, the Find N5 exhibited a significantly less visible crease, whereas the Z Fold 6 showed a more noticeable one.
Oppo has confirmed that the Find N5 will come with an IPX9 rating, along with IPX6 and IPX8 certifications, offering protection against powerful hot water jets, immersion, and high-pressure water jets.
Rumours suggest the Find N5 will support 50W wireless charging and 80W wired charging. It is also speculated to house a 5,600mAh battery and be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
