Oppo Reno16: A Competent Compact Phone [Review]

It's a surprisingly good phone that blends premium design and durability very well.

The company also announced that all eligible devices will transition from OxygenOS to ColorOS starting with Android 17.

Both models use the same 12mm drivers with support for SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs.

All the phones are very similar-looking design-wise, but the most affordable model has a slightly bigger screen.

Which means that OxygenOS and Realme UI will cease to exist in the near future.

From now until 7 May 2026, there's a RM200 discount off the price tag if you pre-order.

It comes in two colours, Tundra Umber and Canyon Orange, and in two configurations: 12GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB.

It can scan and record your bills, translate menus for you, deliver a summary of your emails and more.

It's expected to pack a quad-camera setup and be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Oppo is also launching this phone next month in China.
