Meet The Oppo Watch X3: A Rugged Wear OS Smartwatch With A Starting Price Of RM1,499

From now until 7 May 2026, there's a RM200 discount off the price tag if you pre-order.

Alongside the big Find X9 Ultra debut, Oppo also dropped a new wearable called the Watch X3. It is looking like a solid contender if you are in the market for a high-end smartwatch.

The first thing you will notice is that 1.5-inch circular LTPO OLED screen. It is plenty sharp, but the real party trick is the brightness. While it sits at a comfortable 600 nits normally, it can crank all the way up to 3,000 nits in direct sunlight when you have sports mode enabled, so you will never struggle to read your stats during a midday run.

Even though it only weighs about 43g without the strap, this thing is built like a tank. It has managed to snag IP68 and IP69 ratings, along with military-grade durability and 5ATM water resistance. The watch is running a Snapdragon W5 chip with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, which should keep things snappy. You also get the usual connectivity suite like Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC for contactless payments.

The Watch X3 ships with Google’s Wear OS 6.0, so you can expect smooth integration with the rest of the Google and Android ecosystem. The watch also supports ECG, which uses sensors to record electrical heart signals to detect atrial fibrillation (AFib) and sinus rhythm.

Pricing and Availability

If you are keen, pre-orders are open until 7 May. The Misty Titanium version will set you back RM1,599, while the Obsidian Black is a bit cheaper at RM1,499.

Oppo is sweetening the deal for early birds with a RM200 rebate and a free TechLife watch strap worth RM299, so it is worth checking out their official and authorised distribution channels if you want to snag one.
