Oppo Malaysia has officially expanded its smartphone lineup with the arrival of the new Reno16 series. The latest family comprises three distinct models tailored to different budget and performance needs: the standard Reno16, the better-equipped Reno16 Pro, and a wallet-friendly alternative, the Reno16 F.
Stepping into the spotlight, the standard Reno16 boasts a 6.32-inch AMOLED FHD+ display that delivers a fluid visual experience thanks to its 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with configurations offering up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the versatile triple-camera array on the back, featuring a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation, an 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera. Selfies are handled by an equally impressive 50MP front-facing shooter. Keeping the lights on is a big 6,700mAh battery that supports rapid top-ups via 80W wired fast charging.
For users seeking a bit more real estate and power, the Reno16 Pro steps up the game. It has the same display as the base model, but upgrades the silicon to a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 SUPER processor, whilst maintaining the same memory and storage configurations as the base model.
The camera configuration gets a boost as well, housing a triple-camera system with a 200MP main, 50 MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto lense, accompanied by a 50MP selfie camera. The Pro variant also ups the endurance stakes with an even larger 7,000mAh battery, though it retains the same 80W wired charging speed.
Both the standard and Pro models share a robust set of extra features, including comprehensive IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K environmental resistance, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and an optical under-display fingerprint scanner.
Rounding out the trio is the Reno16 F, designed to serve as the most accessible entry point to the series. This model carries a 6.57-inch AMOLED FHD+ display and opts for a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. It caps its memory options at 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage capacity.

Despite the lower price tag, it does not skimp out on imaging or longevity; it is equipped with a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP wide, 50MP telephoto, and an 8MP ultrawide lens, alongside a 50MP front camera. It also inherits the massive 7,000mAh battery from its Pro sibling to ensure stellar battery life.
