Acer just announced the expansion of its Predator Helios Neo portfolio with the all-new Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Predator Helios Neo 18 AI gaming laptops.
The duo features cutting-edge specifications, including the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, 64GB of RAM of 6400 MT/s, 2TB of storage, and Nvidia’s new GeForce RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU, paired with high-refresh rate OLED displays.

Starting with the Predator Helios Neo 18 AI, this model, as the name implies, sports an 18-inch display. It offers three WQXGA options with a resolution of 2560x1600px and one WUXGA option at 1920x1200px.
The top-tier variant features a Mini LED panel with a 3 ms response time and a 250Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it offers a choice between the Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX or the Ultra 9 275HX processors, paired with either the RTX 5070 or 5070 Ti laptop GPUs. Powering the device is a 90WHr battery, all housed within a 3.3kg chassis.
The Helios Neo 16 AI, on the other hand, provides four display options, with the premium choice being an OLED panel boasting a 1 ms response time, 400 nits of brightness, and a 240Hz refresh rate. It shares the same processor and GPU options as its 18-inch counterpart, along with the same 90WHr battery, but is slightly lighter at 2.7kg.

Both models are equipped with advanced cooling systems, such as the 5th generation AeroBlade 3D fans, vector heat pipes, and liquid metal thermal grease applied to the SoC.

The Predator Helios Neo 16 AI (PHN16-73) will be available in North America in April 2025, starting at
USD1,899.99 (~RM8,472).
The Predator Helios Neo 18 AI (PHN18-72) will be available in North America in May 2025, starting at USD2,199.99 (~RM9,809).
Local availability and pricing have not been announced, but both laptops are expected to arrive in Malaysia later this year.
