Apple recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to tease a major announcement scheduled for next week.
CEO Tim Cook referred to the upcoming reveal as the “newest member of the family,” with the event set for Wednesday, 19 February 2025.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the announcement is likely centered around the next-generation iPhone SE. The new model is expected to mirror the design of the iPhone 14, featuring a larger display and Face ID capabilities.
It will also reportedly feature Apple Intelligence and the A18 chip, the same processor found in the iPhone 16 lineup.
In a significant shift, the device is rumoured to be Apple’s first to incorporate an in-house cellular modem chip, marking the company’s move away from relying on Qualcomm components.
