It seems that Samsung might use the Exynos 2500 chipset in the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7. A prototype of the phone recently showed up in the Geekbench database, giving us a peek at its performance.
The Flip 7 prototype scored 2,012 in single-core and 7,563 in multi-core tests, putting it closer to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 than the 8 Elite in terms of performance.
The Exynos 2500 has a ten-core CPU setup, including one Cortex-X925 core running at up to 3.3 GHz, two Cortex-A725 cores at 2.75 GHz, five more Cortex-A725 cores at 2.36 GHz, and two Cortex-A520 cores at 1.8 GHz.
But keep in mind, this is just a prototype—final production units could see improvements.
According to Geekbench, the Flip 7 will launch with Android 16 and One UI 8, along with 12GB of RAM. Samsung is expected to unveil the phone in early July, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
