Here’s What You Should Know About The Oppo Find X9 and X9 Pro

Both phones will pack a humongous battery within a body that's less than 8.3mm thick.

Oppo is expected to launch its Find X9 series next month and the company’s Find series Product Manager, Zhou Yibao, has started sharing some details about the flagship phones.

The flagship Pro model will be equipped with a substantial 7,500mAh battery within an 8.25mm-thick chassis, while the standard Find X9 will feature a 7,025mAh power cell. Both devices in the series will showcase a new ‘cold carving’ manufacturing technique and will be available in a ‘Titanium’ hero colour, though the chassis itself will still be aluminium.

The displays are another focal point, with both models sporting fully flat screens that are said to have the thinnest and most uniform bezels on any Oppo phone to date, potentially measuring just 1.1mm on all sides. The screens will also incorporate new eye protection technology, including a dedicated mode designed to reduce motion sickness.

The devices will ship running ColorOS 16, which was demonstrated to have native support for Apple accessories like the AirPods 4.

Under the hood, rumours suggest both phones will be powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset and will feature 80W wired charging. A significant upgrade will see the series switch from optical to ultrasonic fingerprint readers for improved performance.

For photography, the standard X9 is set to include a triple 50MP rear camera setup, while the Pro variant will boast a 200MP periscope lens. Zhou Yibao has also highlighted major improvements to video recording capabilities.
