Oppo is gearing up to launch its flagship Find X9 Ultra later this month across China and the rest of the globe, but we do not have to wait until the launch date to get a proper first look at it thanks to a leak on Weibo (via GSMArena).

The design is dominated by a massive circular camera module on the back. However, if you look inside that ring, the actual camera setup is tucked into a rounded rectangular black island with a more irregular, asymmetrical layout. It is a bit of a quirky choice, but it certainly helps the phone stand out from the crowd.

The back of the phone also has what seems to be faux leather, and it’s unknown if this is a special Hasselblad or if there will be a regular Ultra version with a glass back.
The cameras are where things get really interesting, especially the rumoured 50MP periscope lens. It offers 10x optical zoom, which Oppo is apparently marketing as a built-in teleconverter, likely using a custom Samsung JNL sensor. To top it off, we are expecting a 200MP main camera featuring the Sony LYT-901 sensor, a second 200MP sensor for 3x zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide lens to finish the set.

As for the rest of the specs, the Find X9 Ultra is shaping up to be a powerhouse. It is expected to arrive with a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display boasting a 144Hz refresh rate and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. To keep the phone going, there is a massive 7,050mAh battery tucked inside, supported by 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
