Apple Announces September 2026 Event

Expect to see the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, and possibly Apple's first foldable iPhone.

After months of non-stop rumours and that massive leak, Apple has finally dropped the date for its next big reveal. We are officially getting the iPhone 18 Pro, and Pro Max, plus what everyone has really been waiting for: their very first foldable phone.

Mark your calendars, because Apple confirmed the iPhone-focused event is happening on 10 September at 1am Malaysian Time. The event poster comes with the tagline Surprise and Shine, complete with a glowing Apple logo that looks like it has sunlight streaming straight through it.

We fully expect the tech giant to show off the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max during the show. However, the real star of the evening will almost certainly be the long-rumoured iPhone Ultra, marking the company’s long-awaited entry into the foldable market.

Design-wise, the iPhone 18 Pro series should look fairly familiar if you are used to the iPhone 17 Pro lineup. That said, expect some proper upgrades, including a new camera setup, a faster chip, a scaled-down Dynamic Island, and a brand new modem.

As for the foldable, often nicknamed the Ultra or Fold, word is it will pack a 5.5-inch cover screen alongside a roomier 7.67-inch main inner display with a 4:3 aspect ratio. It is also rumoured to bring back Touch ID and run an iPad-inspired user interface to make the most of that extra screen real estate.
