Google recently launched the Pixel 9 series, but the lineup is not yet complete. The Pixel 9a is expected to join the family soon.
The Pixel 9a is expected to launch in May 2025, but we don’t have to wait until next year to find out what it could potentially look like.
The renders provided by Android Headlines reveal that the primary distinction between the standard Pixel 9 and the 9a is the minimal camera hump.

It appears to be just a slight raised ring encircling the oval-shaped glass housing. In contrast, other Pixel 9 models feature some of the largest camera hump in the smartphone market.

Additionally, the phone features noticeably thicker bezels compared to its counterparts and is anticipated to incorporate the Tensor G4 chipset, which powers the rest of the Pixel 9 series. However, it will be paired with a less advanced modem to reduce costs.

The 9a is set to launch with Android 15, and similar to the other Pixel 9 devices, it will also benefit from seven years of software support provided by Google.
