Alienware has unveiled its latest gaming monitor, the AW2725QF, designed to cater to both professional and avid gamers.
This 27-inch monitor allow users to choose between a 3840x2160p resolution at 180Hz or a 1920x1080p resolution at 360Hz. This dual-mode capability ensures gamers can opt for either the highest fidelity or the most fluid gaming experience.
The AW2725QF features an IPS panel with true 10-bit colour depth, capable of displaying up to 1.07 billion colours. It boasts a typical contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a typical brightness of 400 nits, with HDR support pushing the peak brightness to 600 nits.
The monitor covers 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and offers exceptional colour accuracy with a Delta E of less than 2, making it ideal for both gaming and content creation.
With Dolby Vision and DisplayHDR 600 support, the display delivers vivid details, while TUV-certified ComfortView Plus technology ensures longer gaming sessions without eye strain.
The monitor also boatst ultra-low response time of just 0.5ms GtG, which minimises ghosting and blurring. Additionally, the AW2725QF is NVIDIA G-Sync compatible, reducing screen tearing for a smoother gaming experience.
Console gamers will be happy to know that the monitor also includes a high-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 port that supports 4K resolution at up to 120Hz.
It also features Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for responsive gaming. The HDMI eARC port allows for the connection of surround sound speakers and high-fidelity soundbars.
The monitor’s ergonomic stand supports height adjustment up to 110mm, -5°/+21° tilt, -20°/+20° swivel, and -90°/+90° pivot, ensuring comfort during extended use.
The Alienware AW2725QF gaming monitor is already available in China and will be available globally from 12 September 2024, with a suggested retail price of USD599.99 (~RM2,625).
