Apple Is Planning To Launch A New iPhone SE In 2025 Without Touch ID

The new iPhone SE is expected to have a design similar to the iPhone 14, which suggests it may include Face ID.

Apple is developing a new iPhone SE and plans to launch this budget-friendly iPhone, along with other Mac devices in 2025.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who is always reliable when it comes to reporting on Apple devices, says that the fourth iPhone SE will be based on the iPhone 14.

This implies that Apple will eliminate the home button (Touch ID) in favour of Face ID. The entry-level iPhone is expected to feature one of the company’s newer chipsets, potentially equipping it with Apple Intelligence.

In addition, Gurman reported that Apple intends to launch redesigned Mac minis, refreshed MacBook Pros, and iMacs equipped with the M4 chip. This chipset is also expected to be featured in the new MacBook Airs, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro devices.

Furthermore, he mentioned that Apple plans to introduce two new iPad Air models accompanied by an updated Magic Keyboard.

However, Gurman noted that a new iPad Pro might not be released in 2025, as the existing model is already considered “a generation ahead.”
