Hypershell has just brought its latest bit of kit, the X Ultra exoskeleton, to the Malaysian market. If you are wondering what an exoskeleton actually is, just think of it as wearable tech designed to support your movement and give your natural physical capabilities a bit of a leg up.

Tipping the scales at a lightweight 1.8kg, this nifty device straps around your waist and upper hips. It draws power from a built-in battery to give your legs a boost, making long treks feel a whole lot easier. It is not just about raw power, though; the X Ultra uses an AI MotionEngine that tracks data from twelve different sensors to make sure every step feels natural rather than robotic.

The real muscle behind the machine is the M-One Ultra Motor. This version is about 25% more powerful than the previous model, which translates to some pretty impressive stats. You are looking at 39% less effort while cycling, a 20% reduction in exertion when walking, and a massive 63% increase in hip flexor endurance.
Users can also control the exoskeleton with the Hypershell+ app; they can switch modes, adjust power, and check their status via an Apple Watch, allowing for greater hands-free control.

Battery life has seen a massive upgrade too. You can now get around 42,000 steps on a single charge, or roughly 60km of range if you are using two batteries. That is a huge leap from the 17.5km range of the older version. To make sure these figures are not just marketing fluff, Hypershell had the performance verified by the Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS), the same lot who certify the tech in your smartphone.
Pricing and Availability
If you fancy picking one up, the X Ultra officially goes on sale for RM8,999 on 1 February 2026 at 8pm. You will be able to find it on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, and their official website. As a bonus for early birds, Hypershell is throwing in a free anti-cold battery worth RM599 and a four-port charging hub worth RM299 to sweeten the deal.
