Meta has announced the upcoming launch of its artificial intelligence (AI) assistant in Malaysia.
Meta AI offers a variety of AI voices, can recognise details in photos, edit images, create inventive captions, and generate images. Additionally, it can answer questions on a wide range of topics.
Accessible via meta.ai on the web, as well as on WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram, users can engage with Meta AI by tapping the icon or typing “@Meta AI” to initiate a conversation.
Meta claims that Meta AI is poised to become the world’s most popular AI assistant by year’s end, potentially reaching nearly 500 million active users monthly.
Meta AI’s expansion plans include other Southeast Asian countries, as well as regions in the Middle East, Africa, and South America, aiming to support 43 countries and multiple languages.
