The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has announced Nvidia’s participation in CES 2025. Nvidia’s CEO, Jensen Huang, is scheduled to deliver a keynote on Monday, 6 January, which is the day before the CES showroom opens to attendees on 7 January. This announcement suggests that the company may launch significant new products at the event.
It’s widely anticipated that this could be the unveiling of the next-generation Blackwell-based GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 graphics cards.
Rumours suggest the RTX 5090 will feature a substantial specification upgrade, including 32GB of 28Gbps GDDR7 VRAM on a 512-bit bus, with a Total Graphics Power (TGP) of 600W.
The RTX 5080, on the other hand, is expected to maintain 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM on a 256-bit bus, with a TGP of 400W. We might even get to see Nvidia introducing more mid-level models during the event such as RTX 5070 and RTX 5060.
