Oppo Find X9 Series Launches In Malaysia; Price Starts At RM3,699

There's only one 16GB+512GB configuration for the Find X9 and X9 Pro.

The Oppo Find X9 series has officially touched down in Malaysia. Under the hood, both the standard Find X9 and the Pro model are powered by MediaTek’s top-tier Dimensity 9500, so you can expect flagship-level performance across the board.

Where they start to differ is with the displays. The non-Pro version features a 6.59-inch LTPS screen, while the Pro steps things up with a larger 6.78-inch LTPO screen, both offering that silky-smooth 1-120Hz refresh rate.

When it comes to endurance, both phones are seriously equipped. The base model packs a substantial 7,025mAh battery, and the Pro model goes even further with a 7,500mAh power pack.

The camera systems are where the two models truly carve out their own identities. The standard Find X9 sports a capable triple-camera setup. This includes a main sensor using a 1/1.4-inch LYT-808 with OIS, joined by a 50MP periscope telephoto lens for getting closer to the action, and a 50MP ultra-wide for capturing the bigger picture.

The Find X9 Pro, however, takes things to another level for photography enthusiasts. Its main camera uses a larger 50MP Sony LYT-828 sensor, and it swaps the telephoto for a truly formidable 200MP Hasselblad camera with a 70mm focal length. As a particularly neat bonus for Pro users, the phone also works with an optional Hasselblad Teleconverter kit.

This accessory adds a prime zoom lens that physically connects to the phone via a special module and case, offering a more traditional photography experience.

Pricing and Availability

Pricing for the range kicks off at RM3,699 for the standard Find X9, while the Pro model will set you back RM4,999 if you pre-order. Do note, that’s a pre-order price – after that, the Pro jumps to a retail price of RM5,099. It’s also worth mentioning that Oppo is only bringing in the 16GB RAM with 512GB storage configuration for both phones.

If you pre-order between now and the 7 November, you can bag yourself a selection of exclusive gifts with a combined worth of up to RM1,577. This includes a rather nifty Laifen mini hair dryer (worth RM459), a Premium Magnetic Gift Box valued at up to RM499, and the handy addition of a one-year multi-regional warranty.

On top of that, if you sign up as a member on the My Oppo App, you’ll be entitled to a one-year screen protection plan (RM399), a Kiehl’s travel skincare set (RM170), and an extra RM50 e-Gift voucher to spend later.

And here’s a little something extra for the photography enthusiasts eyeing up the Pro model. If you pre-order the X9 Pro, you’ll also get a RM200 discount on the Hasselblad Teleconverter, which normally retails for RM999.
