Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 & Flip FE Available Locally From RM3,999

Unlike the Galaxy Z Flip 6 last year, this year the Flip 7 is powered by an Exynos chip.

Samsung didn’t just drop the Galaxy Z Fold 7—they also introduced two new Z Flip models: the Z Flip 7 and the Flip FE.

The Z Flip 7 sports a 6.9-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 21:9 aspect ratio and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate.

There’s also a cover screen that stretches across most of the top shell, except for the bezels and the dual cameras. This outer display measures 4.1 inches with a resolution of 1,048 x 948.

Under the hood, the Flip 7 runs on the Exynos 2500 chipset, a shift from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the Flip 6. It comes with 12GB of RAM and no other memory options. The battery sees a small bump to 4,300mAh, split into two cells, but charging speeds stay the same—25W wired, 15W wireless, and 4.5W reverse wireless.

For cameras, the Flip 7 packs a 50MP main and 12MP ultrawide on the back, plus a 10MP selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout on the main screen. Software-wise, it’s one of the first to launch with Android 16, layered with Samsung’s One UI 8.

Other features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a single Nano SIM slot (with support for multiple eSIMs), and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also has an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Z Flip FE is basically Z Flip 6, but it’s powered by Exynos 2400 instead. This is the first FE model from the Galaxy Z Flip series.
