Caviar, known for its custom luxury devices, especially iPhones, has revealed yet another unique creation.
The Huawei Mate XT OT Caviar, part of Caviar’s Rich Colors collection, comes in two editions: Black Dragon and Gold Dragon.
The Black Dragon variant draws inspiration from the mythical Xuanlong Dragon, featuring black crocodile leather that mimics the dragon’s scales, complemented by gold-plated embellishments.
The Gold Dragon is sheathed entirely in 24k gold, its surface etched with a pattern reminiscent of imperial swords from Longquan, the birthplace of China’s ancient multi-layer sword forging technique.
Caviar said they will only produce only 88 units of each model in homage to the number 88’s auspicious status in Chinese culture.
Both models come in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options. The Black Dragon version starts at USD12,770 (~RM52,382), while the Gold Dragon model starts at USD14,500 (~RM59,479). The regular Mate XT Ultimate has a starting price of CNY19,999 (~RM12,186).
The standard Mate XT Ultimate is currently exclusive to China, with an international release scheduled for the first quarter of 2025. If you want to know more about the world’s first tri-folding phone, you can read about it here.
