Besides announcing the Find N5, Oppo has introduced its latest flagship smartwatch, the Watch X2, in Malaysia.
The Watch X2 boasts a dual-chip architecture, combining the Snapdragon W5 and BES2800BP MCU for enhanced performance. It also features a dual-boot system, running on Wear OS 5 and a dedicated RTOS (Real-Time Operating System) for efficiency.
Powered by the same Silicon-Carbon battery technology as the Find N5, the Watch X2 delivers an impressive battery life of up to five days in Smart Mode and 16 days in Power Saver Mode. Additionally, Watch VOOC Flash Charge provides 24 hours of usage with just a 10-minute charge.
The smartwatch sports a 1.5-inch LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of 2,200 nits, protected by a sapphire crystal glass, with a titanium alloy bezel. Its stainless-steel case is both IP68-rated and MIL-STD-810H-certified, ensuring durability against water, dust, and extreme conditions.
Health and wellness features include a 60-second health check, blood oxygen monitoring, and a single-lead EKG electrode for cardiovascular insights. It also offers multi-dimensional sleep monitoring with sleep apnea detection and heart rate variability tracking for stress management.
For fitness enthusiasts, the Watch X2 comes equipped with dual-frequency GPS for precise tracking, over 100 workout modes, and professional analysis for 11 sports, including tennis and badminton. Smart connectivity features include call and text support, remote camera control, Google Wallet payments, and access to Google Play apps via Wear OS 5.
Pricing and Availability
The Oppo Watch X2 is set to launch on 28 February 2025, with the Summit Blue variant (featuring a hybrid leather band) priced at RM1,499 and the Lava Black version (with a fluorine rubber band) at RM1,399.
Pre-orders are open until 27 February 2025 at Oppo stores and online retailers, with an extra watch strap included as a bonus while supplies last.
